Congratulations to Grady Hurt on being the recipient of the 2018 Throwbacks Old School Scholarship Award! Grady graduated from Miamisburg HS this past spring and is going on to Shawnee State University to continue his academic and baseball careers.

Grady has been with the Throwbacks the past 2 seasons and has shown a strong desire to play baseball at the collegiate level.  Grady contributed at a high level this Summer with the Gem City Throwbacks 17U-Mahaffey as a RHP/2B and was among the team leaders in many offensive statistical categories while also being a great teammate.

Congratulations to Tyler Grimes on being the recipient of the 2017 Throwbacks Old School Scholarship Award! Tyler graduated from Miamisburg HS this past spring and is going on to Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, KY where he will play both Baseball and Football. Quite an accomplishment!

Tyler has been with the Throwbacks the past 2 seasons and has shown a strong desire to play in college along with being a leader on his team.  This past season, with the 18U Team under Coach Tony Quatman, Tyler was named Captain by his teammates and coaches.  I have had the pleasure to work with Tyler right away when joining the Throwbacks a couple years ago to help him achieve his desire to play in college.  Tyler worked extremely hard at it, following the Recruiting Program we teach and proactively self marketing himself.   Tyler is also a standout in the classroom with a high school GPA of 3.23.
